Happy Summer, everyone!
We know it’s been a little while since we’ve last posted on AvidBards, and S & I sincerely apologize for that. We have had family events, road trips, and travels galore this summer, and it’s been harder than we thought it would be to keep up!
Today’s post is short and sweet as we get back into the groove of our regular posting schedule. As summer’s end begins to creep up on us bittersweetly, I have created a playlist of 30 songs that I’ve been listening to on repeat during these warm months. (We did one last year, too – check it out here) Whether that’s through a casual stroll, workouts, commuting to work or blasting on my speakers as I relax at home, I’ve been particularly moved by music this summer. These days, I find a relaxing ballad is just as welcome as a more upbeat banger. You’ll find that this playlist is a mix of alt-genre songs as well as Top 40 and some rock-focused tunes – as well as some Disney favourites following the release of the new CGI version of The Lion King.
