Pride Month Reading List

One of our earliest posts that we had on the blog was a Reading List for Black History Month and it is still one of our most popular posts, gaining praise for giving a starting point for people wanting to diversify their reading. Introducing the “Canongate Myth Series” Book Reviews

One of the things I was absolutely obsessed with as a kid was mythology and folklore of any kind. If it had to do with old-time gods and impossibly perfect heroes and heroines, I would be drawn to it. Things like Hercules had be as excited as the muses. Black History Month is upon us once again! For those who are unaware, Black History Month is an annual celebration of the achievements of African Americans and a recognition of the central role of Black people in the history of the United States. This tradition spread to Canada shortly after its conception in the US in 1926, though at that time it was merely a week-long event, expanding to a month in 1976.
