For avid readers, there are very few sites as aesthetically pleasing as a full bookshelf. One of my favourite things about bookshelves is that regardless of the books themselves on the shelves, the way a bookshelf is organised is very telling of someone’s personality. From messy shelves, to colour coordinated, to alphabetically arranged, they’re something beautiful in all of them.
I’ve recently been considering changing up my bookshelf organisation and was just awed by the incredible inspiration pictures I was finding, so I decided to round them up so that for anyone else who is bookshelf obsessed, you could also enjoy some incredible aesthetics.
Uniform White with the spines placed backwards
or go with an all nude theme.
The messy bookshelf look is also an appealing option for those with less time
This coloured and shape organisation is something out of a model home
Loving the look of a bookshelf being a decoration piece
And we all know the aesthetic of “wherever there’s room, put it”
Here’s one that’s casual and probably very familiar
And a functional yet very pretty
This lengthy bookshelf reminds me of a bookstore
How can you not love looking at the geometric shapes here!
Repurpose an old cabinet and make it stand out!
And this amazing custom wall shelf
Or on the other hand, have your own personal mini bookshelf for those small spaces
and really you can’t say that this is not a bookshelf either, just a makeshift one.
And finally, another colour coded one which I absolutely love the look of even if it’s not quite functional.
